I love all sorts of Mexican food! From guacamole, to burritos, tamales, you name it! Lol This past weekend I took it upon myself to make two different Mexican dishes. This first one that I am sharing with you is a homemade guacamole recipe. Now normally I would be too lazy and just buy it from the store premade, but I decided to be adventurous and make it from scratch since I have heard that guacamole is pretty easy to make.
I had to head out to the store to buy all of the ingredients I needed. Ingredients: avocados, tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lemon or lime juice.

The first thing you should do is wash and cut up the tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro. Next, you need to cut the avocados in half and remove the pit, then you scrape out the avocado from its outside. The next thing you need to do is, throw all of your cut up ingredients into a bowl, put a splash a lemon or lime juice into the bowl and them mash and mix it all together. You can mix it however you would like and you can make it as chunky as you would like to. Another thing that you could choose to do is to add in a few extra spices to add some heat to the guacamole. I chose to add in some salt, pepper, and Cajun spices.
After the guacamole is all mixed together, you can now enjoy it however you would like! I love to pair my guacamole with some tortilla chips, I also like to put a little on my tacos or burritos for some extra flavor!
